Brittany Stuart is a local, mixed media artist. Struggling with mental health, Brittany would create any way she could. Taking self portraits in thrifted wedding gowns for years became the foundation of Brittany’s heart for creating and many of her art pieces contain repurposed wedding gowns as a tribute to those hard years. Since she was young, painting on furniture and walls and pushing the boundaries when it comes to art has always been a joy for her. Brittany is a testament to self-taught artists and those overcoming depression and anxiety.
